The short version
CardHabit is a daily challenge built on collectible-card-game mechanics. Every morning it deals five habit cards at random from Physical, Mental, Nutrition, Recovery, and a Wildcard. You commit to what you can hold, and friends play Challenge cards into each other's next-day draws, raising the bar on tomorrow's commitments. It is accountability designed for small groups, not viral networks.
It is built for the people who read Atomic Habits and burned out on 75 Hard, and now want something hard every day instead of extreme once. You don't pick what to track, only whether you show up. Cormorant Garamond typography and a dark-and-gold visual system make it the quiet-intensity counter to all-or-nothing fitness culture.
The developer
CardHabit is built by Brandon Kessinger, a solo developer in Phoenix, Arizona. He shipped it on roughly an hour a day, around a CTO job and a newborn at home, building in public toward a July 7, 2026 launch. The constraint shaped the product: scoped cards small enough to do every morning, a system that survives missed days, and a thesis that persistence beats grind.
